I was not aiming for absolute best quality here but just wanted to show a hybrid example of how generated images from AI Shots can be reused in various ways in the scene.
Step 1
Screenshot from Real-time View. The scene has a toy airplane (one of our demo scenes) and Luxo Jr., the Pixar lamp. The models are sitting on a plane, representing a desk surface. There’s an Area Light inside the glass bulb to cast light onto the airplane.
Step 2
Restyle image with AI Shots using the following prompt:
Photorealistic interior of a cozy child’s bedroom at night, shot from desk level perspective. In the sharp-focused foreground, a wooden desk surface holds two key objects: a modern adjustable desk lamp with dark metal finish and warm white LED bulb, and a detailed wooden toy biplane painted in blue with natural wood propeller and metal details. Both objects sit prominently on the desk surface with realistic shadows cast by the lamp’s warm light. The desk is positioned in the foreground of the frame. Behind the desk, a child’s bedroom extends into soft focus - soft blue-gray walls, polished hardwood flooring, a comfortable single bed with rumpled cotton bedding and stuffed animals. The lamp creates realistic light falloff across the desk surface and into the room. Subtle moonlight streams through sheer curtains in the background. Professional interior photography, shot with 85mm lens at f/2.8 for shallow depth of field, realistic materials and textures, hyper-detailed desk surface in foreground, photographic quality, cinematic lighting.
Step 3
Saved out restyle image applied as Backplate in the scene.
Step 4
Same restyle image applied as texture with camera mapping to the outer lamp shade part. The material was set to Flat. The materials of the inner lamp shade part and glass bulb were adjusted a little bit.
Step 5
Copied and pasted the camera mapped material to the remaining parts of the lamp and the desk surface.
Step 6
Adjusted the color of the Area Light inside the bulb. Changed the material of the desk surface and base of the lamp to Ground. This allows these surfaces to be illuminated by the Area Light while showing the Backplate underneath.
Highly experimental workflow but maybe it can inspire you
